Field Trips
Bring your class, daycare or group to play, make and explore across our four labs, or have us pack it all up and come to you. Two ways to do a field trip with The Makery.

A look inside The Makery

In-house
Your group comes to The Makery and has the run of all four labs (building, movement, art and glow play) with our team on hand.
- › $12 per child for 1.5 hours
- › $17 per child for 2 hours
- › 15 child minimum
- › Up to 60 children per day, across as many as 3 classrooms
we come to you
Mobile
We bring the fun to your school or centre. Pick a themed package and we'll set up, run the experience, and pack it all back up.
- › Slime package: $15 per child (up to 30 per class)
- › Glow package: $12 per child (up to 25 per class)
- › 20 child minimum
- › $50 travel fee, 10% off each additional classroom
Good to know
🧪 In-house visits use all four labs; mobile visits run a single themed package (Slime or Glow).
👧 Great for schools, daycares and community groups. Let us know each classroom's age range so we can pitch the activities right.
📅 Pick your preferred date when you request, and we'll confirm availability and send an invoice with a deposit to lock it in.
📍 We're based at 107, 52 Sioux Road in Sherwood Park; mobile visits travel out from there.
🌧️ Weather: if your group can't travel to us because of poor weather (by bus, or on foot if you're walking), we're happy to rebook. Rebooking is subject to availability, and some times of year fill up quickly, especially May and June.
